How long are my sessions and how often will we meet?
Individual therapy is typically 50 minutes in length and held weekly until we decide to meet less frequently or that our work has been completed. This tends to occur naturally and collaboratively as you continue to feel better.
I also offer 75- and 90-minute sessions for those who benefit from more time and/or cannot schedule weekly meetings.
What are your fees and can I use my insurance?
My current fees are $250/50 minute session, $275/60 minutes.. I accept payment via credit card through my online system.. I also accept FSA/HSA cards, which you can learn more about that here.
I serve as an out-of-network provider for most major insurance companies. When accessing services out of your insurance network, you may be eligible for at least partial reimbursement. Many of my clients qualify for 20 - 80% reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider for specific information. Some further questions you might ask are:
Does my health insurance policy have a mental health or behavioral health benefit?
Does my policy cover a non-participating (out of network) LMFT?
What is my annual deductible? Has it been met for this calendar year?
During the calendar year, how many sessions does my policy cover?
What paperwork or form do I need to submit for sessions to be covered?
